Discord is a place to mention an assistant in a channel of your own server, or to message it directly, and get a reply, progress, and Approve and Reject buttons in the same place.
In the Discord developer portal, create an application and copy its token.
Invite the application to your server with the permissions listed below.
Find your Discord user id, so only you can send instructions.
Optionally, note your server id too, so the app answers only there.
Today these are set in the configuration of a self-hosted StellarFirm setup, not from the app. When Discord opens, you will connect it under Integrations.
Approve in the channel. When work needs you, the request arrives with Approve and Reject buttons. Only the person who asked can press them, and the first press wins. You can also reply approve or reject with the mention when one request is waiting, or use the Approvals page.
Routines and hand-offs between assistants are not started from Discord.
Your StellarFirm workspace connects out to Discord, so you do not need to open any address on your side.
Your token stays in your StellarFirm setup and is never shown back to you. The page shows only that it is connected.
Use a private server or a private channel. Anyone who can read the channel can read the replies.
