Close
Coming soon
Let Sales read leads, contacts, opportunities, pipeline stages, and call and email activity from Close CRM. Read only, so nothing in Close changes. Coming soon.
On this page
Close is a CRM built for small sales teams. Once you connect it, Sales can read your leads, your open opportunities, and every call and email logged against them, so it can give each deal a next step and tell you which ones have gone quiet.
Which assistants use it#
| Assistant | Status |
|---|---|
| Sales | Coming soon |
What assistants can do#
Close connects through Close's own hosted server. The assistants connect with read-only access, so nothing in Close changes.
| Ability | How it runs |
|---|---|
| Read leads and contacts | Reads on its own |
| Read opportunities and pipeline stages | Reads on its own |
| Read call and email activity | Reads on its own |
| Change a lead, contact, or opportunity | Never run from chat |
Setup (when it opens)#
- In Close, open Settings, then Developer, and create a new key. Give it a name you will recognize, such as "StellarFirm".
- Open Integrations in StellarFirm and pick Close.
- Paste the key, switch on the live option, and press Connect.
Permissions#
- A key from Close's Developer settings belongs to the Close user who made it, so the assistants see what that user sees.
- The assistants connect with read-only access. Nothing here waits for an Approve because nothing in Close changes.
- When Sales proposes a CRM update after a call, it shows you the change in chat. You make it in Close.
- Delete the key in Close whenever you want to cut access.
Good to know#
- Say "Close CRM" or "in Close" in your message. "Close" on its own is an everyday word, and the assistant may not know you mean the tool.
- Ask for a specific slice, such as "opportunities in the proposal stage", to keep answers short.
Prompts to try#
PromptNext step on every deal Sales, list my open opportunities in Close CRM with no next step and suggest a dated one for each.
